Design fees

My initial consultation is always free of charge. I will meet you at your garden for a detailed discussion and follow up with an email summarising what we talked about. This will include practical next steps and an outline of specific fees.

The cost of a design depends on the size of your garden and how much detail you need. I’ve broken the process down into stages to give an approximation of overall cost. You may not need all of the steps and you can stop at any point if you feel you have what you need.

• £500 Bird’s-eye view concept design

• £500 Planting plan

• £1250 Full layout design drawn to scale ready to give to landscapers or other contractors – £500 for the concept design + £750 for scale layout drawings = £1250

• £1750 Full layout design including planting plan – £500 for the concept design + £750 for scale drawings + £500 for the planting plan = £1750
